What a day.

I had a doctor's appointment today in the city. Thankfully, I decided to get a sitter for Katie. The one she loves, who she quite literally pushes me out the door for...

I got to the city in good shape, but when I stopped to get lunch, there was an ominous clunk when I rolled my window down. Very ominous, it turns out, since the window wouldn't come back up again. Fortunately, it wasn't too terribly cold today and I didn't have to go far to get to a glass repair shop that could fit me in. The repair shop was also only a few blocks from my appointment, so I didn't lose too much time walking back & forth.

I got to hear the baby's heartbeat, very strong at 150 beats per minute. And measuring right on schedule for one baby. (Sorry Great-Grandpa, you're going to have to share again.)

And now I'm exhausted, so I'm going to bed early.

yay for a heartbeat! 150... me thinks another girly :) Korin is a lovely name I hear. :D glad you got your window fixed. It's too cold up in the great white north to have an open window!!

The window is bolted up now, unusable but keeps the wind out. They had to order in the parts, so I'll go back on Friday and get it fixed.

And one of our child name criteria is that it not start with the same letter as the existing child... :)
